Philippine listed company Meralco (MER) confirms talks with a number of entities for a possible joint venture to expand their coal-fire power plant to ensure adequate power supply and ensure competitiveness. Among the companies they are in discussion with is Thailand's Electricity Generating Public Co. Ltd.
